The end of May closes out with a lovely trine between Pluto the transformer in New Age Aquarius, the South Node (where we’ve been before) (re-doing any old relationship patterns, hey?), and Sun/Venus/Jupiter in Gemini. (Chatting up new relationship partners, anyone?) Surely, all that sounds fine, as long as you don’t mix up any texts or phone messages or allow any potentials to cross each others’ paths. 😉
But despite the pleasant opening to June, wait for a summer of wild and woolly surprises and shocks, each punctuating mid-month, just to give some extra excitement to our summer. Like, do we need any more of it? The Spring has been pretty crazy, due to all the planets hanging out in one quadrant of the zodiac chart—with the exception of Pluto—and the Moon doing its quick, monthly swing through the constellations. I’m a Gemini Rising, so I love that Sun/Venus/Jupiter thing. I love warm weather and blooming flowers, birds and squirrels having babies, and the smell of freshly mown grass. This season is one of growing communicational relationships, being creative, and letting your light shine—and yes, maybe even falling in love. After all the storms we’ve been through, we need it, don’t we? But the planets are still hanging heavy in Pisces, Aries, Taurus, and Gemini. We’re just squeezing in Pluto and the Moon, and this makes for a very imbalanced situation in everyday life. No balance at all. Oh, well.
Everybody, especially late Tauruses, Scorpios, Leos, and Aquarians can expect a sudden phone call round about the 30th or 31stof May that may not start their summer off too well. On the other hand, Earth signs could possibly get some good news quite suddenly, and I hope it involves money. No matter, the situation probably involves a past partner or relationship or a situation much like that. At any rate, you’ve been through this before. Early Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) could get some amazing news or opportunities or benefits.
Nevertheless, in the aftermath of COVID, with Chiron still conjoining a transiting Mars in Aries, we may get the chance to heal some stuff by clearing the air. This is important to have your say and not to let the fear of being alone (or rejected) stop you from saying what you need to say. This is the time to be strong, step out and step up, think up something new and courageous to do (no matter how small) and to stick to your guns. COVID taught us that we COULD do it alone because we DID. And your opinion IS important. So, go ahead, fight for what’s right and yourself. This is the way to heal yourself, not to be a scaredy cat and be afraid to ruffle feathers of loved ones. Be yourself and ENJOY being yourself. The pain of being alone, or “out there” or different, needs to be healed. Not easy, but I hope you are getting used to it. Mars says, “Just do it!” So, go ‘head!
On June 3rd, Venus and the Sun conjoin in Gemini, so I hope you are with a loved one for a good chat. Gemini is happy and doesn’t like to talk about Debbie Downer things, so keep it light! Mercury will connect with Jupiter on June 4th, so there will be another chance for a life-changing opportunity, especially for the early air signs. By June 6th, we have 5 planets in Gemini, so enjoy the lighthearted mood! I say that, because trouble is brewing, and we’ll see it on “the large stage” (the world), as well as in our own lives, soon enough. What I am hoping is that the Gemini stuff helps with peace talks.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the clouds are looming. Early June is a good time to take art lessons, because if you don’t, there could be some folks who want to put some pressure on the happy chat. Saturn will square the Sun/Venus/Mercury stellium, and I’m just warning you that, even after all the fun, lovey-dovey time you may have had, Pisces, Virgo, and Sagittarius should NOT be pressuring anybody into any kind of commitment. This is not just because of difficult aspects, but because they themselves are so changeable, they may regret trying to force something that needs to stay light. Go easy. Take up music lessons or swimming. Really. Don’t make the same mistakes you’ve made before. Really. Plus, by mid-June, Neptune and the Moon get involved, and they NEVER know what the hell they are doing—one is in Pisces and moving too slowly, and the other just moves too dang fast and can change your mind in a day or two—not to mention the Libra wishy-washiness of the South Node. Nope. Stay clear. Stay light.
I promise you, I myself am not trying to be a Debbie Downer here. I am just the Ghost of Past Mistakes, reminding you not to do those again. Keep things fun and easy for now. This is summertime, after all, and it’s time for fun, not commitment. The middle of June will offer some trine aspects that will facilitate sudden transformational changes and opportunities, and we hope, money, for you. If not money, then I hope you have an abundant garden! Or an opportunity to run with the bulls! Yes, this transformational change can be exciting and maybe dangerous, so stay level-headed, as these unexpected events occur. To find out what they are, look to where Taurus and Aquarius are in your chart. Mars enters Taurus June 19thand stays until July 19th, allowing you to get stuff done. Mars takes action, and Taurus is practical, so summertime honey-do jobs, creative but practical projects, or money-making endeavors may all be highlighted and made possible. Family matters become important shortly afterwards, as Mercury, Venus, and the Sun all enter Cancer. There may be a family matter that requires discussion and a solution, but Piscean Neptune will get in the way to prevent clarity of thought and action. Oh, boy! You’ll have to go on faith alone that what you are doing is right. By the first of July, someone steps up to the leader role in the partnership, whether there is clarity or not, because action needs to be taken.
Round about July 9th, things start to get dicey as Mars and Uranus head for a head-butt and battle in the sign of Taurus. Uranus in Taurus is like an earthquake anyway, and Mars is like a slap in the face, so get ready for some bullish action—just like someone is waving a red flag in front of your face. Look out for shocks on the world stage, and this will be the week of the Republican convention, so expect protests and probably riots. Don’t be surprised; just don’t go. This volatility will continue for about 2 weeks. This literally can be earthquakes and earth changes, banking upsets, or other shocking things resulting from stubbornness and a lack of willingness to change. (Hear that, climate deniers?) This is especially dangerous for late Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius.
Also near July 9th, a loved one departs. Are they going somewhere on vacation or leaving for good? Whatever happens, they are looking for a big change, and that’s the purpose of the trip (or transformation). That Mars/Uranus thing is going to change everybody and may even be the reason for the departure. The good news is, this isn’t a pandemic. The bad news is, the Mars/Uranus thing will have a lasting effect. Kind of like having a car crash: it happens fast, but now you don’t have a car, and you have to go to the chiropractor forever. So, buckle up, y’all, and start saying your prayers the 1st of July and onward into July, so that you are nowhere near the sh** show! This is really going to get the water signs down—they will not understand what just happened. Virgos won’t know, either, but they may take up writing poetry or go into self-analysis (as they always do) to try to figure out the whys. Listen, baby, I don’t think this stuff was under your control. Scorpions, if you don’t get crushed, you’ll probably get mad. Leos will get vocal. Aquarians will duck out and go into hibernation. Good idea.
Mercury goes retrograde in the 3rd degree of Virgo, just as we’re trying to have a practical heart to heart with loved one to figure out what the hell just happened and what to do now. Read that. Someone is literally going to get the third degree! Uh-oh! Heads may roll! Mercury retraces its July sojourn, reviewing what happened and maybe trying to schmooze some people into changing their minds. Leo is a charmer, you know. But no Mercury Retrograde can ever be trusted completely, especially a self-serving Leo one, that just wants some love and sees it slipping way. Such is life, y’all. Mercury stays retrograde from August 3rdto August 28th.
As we head towards the second week of August, we get our next Summer Surprise in Gemini as Mars (POW!) hits Jupiter (expansion). Good news: Gemini is about communication, so perhaps this is just an announcement. This is during the Democratic Convention, so is that a surprise? But with Mercury Retrograde, this is a bad time to make these announcements, because a commitment made during a Retrograde rarely sticks. Dunh dunh dunh! What will happen? The Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini is also part of a Mutable (changeable) square including the Moon in Sag, Saturn in Pisces, and Venus in Virgo. Once again, I hope this doesn’t involve a sudden proposal or anything, because it won’t likely hold. Find yourself a fixed aspect time to bend the knee and hand out an engagement ring, NOT a mutable one—too wobbly and insecure! This August is not the most favorable time. But, hey, do we listen ever? No. Isn’t that why we are re-doing relationship stuff this year, hearkening back to our past relationships—the Aries/Libra Nodes. The goal is independence, guys, not DEPENDENCE. Didn’t we just go through three or so years of COVID to train us in loving and enjoying ourselves alone? Did we get the message? I guess not. I’m not saying this is true of everybody. I enjoyed the hermit-time of COVID, but then, I have an Aquarian Moon. I:m not even saying you shouldn’t have fun going out and chatting folks up. Really, all I’m saying is, this summer isn’t a good time for promises or getting hitched, because the whole thing may unravel. Whether this is you, friends, families, organizations, or even countries—doesn’t matter. I just hope you didn’t put a big deposit on the reception hall or spend too much on the ring. Expect BOTH the U.S. political conventions to be messes—likely with riots and protests at both. Oh, yay. We live in interesting times.
And let’s not forget weather problems. The Mutable Air Square with Mars and Jupiter can bring WIND. And with wind, sometimes come fire and water—expect fires to continue in Canada and probably California and the dryer areas of the country. Expect hurricanes--maybe earlier than usual—and maybe my beloved Houston is in the line of fire—it’s a Gemini/Virgo city, after all, and Mars (the big slap) could release (Jupiter) some pressure.
Uranus and Pluto are holding a trine from mid-June until the beginning of December. They promise transformational change of a fundamental nature. Uranus in Taurus is banking changes as well as earth changes. I will say that definitely has been happening. Were any of us using online banking apps or seeing the weather disasters we see now back in 2017, 2018? Maybe some, but not as many as now.
The other thing we have to face is Pluto retrograding back into miserable Capricorn. I like Capricorn people, but that pileup of heavy-hitters during the pandemic literally killed us. We don’t want to go back. And while we won’t have that pile-up of planets, Pluto will be back in patriarchal, money-grubbing Capricorn from September 1st through November 21st. All I’m saying is, let’s remember that at election time. We’ve gone back in time far enough. We need to reverse the trend and let the Aquarian New Age in, for good, to bring some of the Momma back. Remember what they say about Momma, right? She brought you in, and she can take you out. Y’all men need to remember that. If the oppressors get their way, we will definitely have a revolution, which seems to happen with all the square angles of Pluto and the return of Uranus into Gemini, beginning its transit into Revolution Town in the summer of 2025. Ladies, pick up your rolling pins and pitchforks (and maybe brooms?)—time to let Papa know what’s what. I think the younger male children already know.
(I’ll write another post later on September-December and the election. Right now, I am letting my election predictions sit. Too many surprises still to come this summer!)
